Forgiving God, my sin is ever before me, and I am ashamed. Yet you have looked at my sin and have forgiven me through the cross. Thank you, Lord Jesus! I am blessed by your sweet release. Help me to remember the promise of baptism—that I am washed clean in the waters of your grace. Amen.
