The Ears Are The Door To Faith (Psalm 44:1; 2 Timothy 4:3) (Faith)

It’s not how your ear looks on the outside. What counts to God is how His message gets through the ear to the inside, to our heart. So let’s not look at the outside ear but to the word that gets inside us through the doorway of our ear. We know this is how God’s word of life gets to our very being…through the message we hear proclaimed to us so that we may hear and believe. Listen for God’s word today so that faith may come to life within you.

Old Testament Verse

We have heard with our ears, O God; our ancestors have told us what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old.
Psalm 44:1

New Testament Verse

For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound teaching, but, having their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires.
2 Timothy 4:3

Prayer

Word of truth, speak the truth of your love for me, and I will embrace it with a grateful heart. I trust your love to guide me on my journey. Forgive my desire to not be challenged by the truth of your word. Grant me discernment and help me to sort out your truth from the devil's lies. Amen.
