(Theta) Shepherd’s Voice Psalm ( 100:3 & John 10:4) (Shepherd’s Voice)

Our “Good Shepherd” has created us. He knows us. We belong to Him. We are precious in His sight. He calls us by name. Hearing your name called to you by the voice of your Good Shepherd fills you with the assurance of being loved and cared for by God. As you listen today, remember that these words from Jesus are yours for the hearing whenever you need them. A simple method for God’s voice is found on the inside back cover of your “Daily Texts” book. But you can make up your own using some of your favorite promises from the Bible. One example of the Shepherd’s Voice can be downloaded from the “Prayer Journal File” for today. Just print this sheet. Fill in your name. Have a friend read it to you while you listen with your eyes closed. Share one of these with a friend and read the words of your Good Shepherd to that person. Let the intimate word of your Good Shepherd bless you today.

Daily Texts for 10/22/2026

Old Testament Verse

It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:3

New Testament Verse

I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me.
John 10:14

Prayer

Good Shepherd, I glory in the knowledge that you know me and I know you. When troubles cross my path, I can feel paralyzed. Teach me to listen for your voice when this happens. My heartbeat slows and I find my peace again, knowing that you can help me fight the enemy. Today I sing your praises. Amen.
