Jeff and Mim discuss what it means to be lost and to wander aimless in life. We all get lost. We are, after all, like sheep who wander astray. We need the Good Shepherd to seek and find us and bring us safely home. Mim connects with the concept of light and darkness, sight and blindness through the stories of family members and friends who are going physically blind. Mim also relates to the spiritual blindness from which many suffer. Our comfort is that Christ leads us to good pastures, because he is the way, the life, and the truth. BONUS: We include in print this prayer (it’s not in the podcast): “Lord God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”
