Christ Breaks Through Any Way He Can (Daniel 4:2; Mark 9:40) (Humility)

Jesus was hidden behind plaster for centuries on the walls of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. This mosaic had been covered over until recent excavations revealed this image. How many times and places has our Lord’s presence been covered up only to be revealed at a later time? Our texts for today reveal how our Lord encourages us to keep looking deeper in situations to see where He may be hidden. Our tour next October to the land of Turkey will reveal many of these hidden realities of our Lord. Prayer

Wonderful God, thank you for the ways I have experienced you in my life. When I neglect to witness to others, I deny others from knowing how amazing you are. Help me to share my faith story. Give me ears to hear someone's story that is different from mine and realize how beautifully you connect us. Amen.
