(Hudson Hoff Cast) Trusting In God’s Timing (Isaiah 66:22; John 1:49) (Trust)

Hope! What are you longing for in the new heavens and the new earth? Many images give some feeling of what God promises in the Bible. But it is a real place with real bodies and real food. In Isaiah 25 God is cooking a feast for us. This will be a feast that will launch eternity in a whole new life. We have little foretaste’s of what this will be like as in your Thanksgiving dinner but in this case after the dinner no one has to go home because home is where we are with God.

Old Testament Verse

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your descendants and your name remain.
Isaiah 66:22

New Testament Verse

Prayer

Lord of heaven and earth, through your presence there are glimpses of eternity all around me. Open my mouth to declare the exuberance of your salvation. Forgive me from muting your glad tidings. Help me to share the hope of your new heavens and new earth with anyone I meet today. Amen.
