MISSION CAST Tommy Wagner & Wang Shan Shan Interview “By God's intervention of grace, we are who we are" (Psalm 41/1 and 1 Corinthians 15/9-10)
Jeff and Mim Nellermoe, MISSION CAST podcasters on Saturdays, for Ground Up Grace, are joined by guests Tommy Wagner and Wang Shan Shan, just before their marriage on May 25, 2024. Tommy and Shan Shan met in Xinyang, Henan, China under the auspices of China Service Ventures.
In this podcast, Jeff & Mim explore the various ways God intervenes in our lives with his grace. Sometimes we ask for God’s intervention (like King David in Psalm 41) and sometimes God intervenes without our asking in our behalf (like Saul/Paul in Acts 9 and 1 Corinthians 15). Jeff & Mim explore with Tommy and Shan Shan their amazing stories of grace upon their lives. Shan Shan was born the third child under a one-child policy in China. Her birth should have never happened. She was given away quietly to a Christian family. Tommy was involved in mission trips at the age of 6 years old. As a teenager, Tommy’ read the autobiographical story of Liu Zehnying (Brother Yun) in the book, “Heavenly Man,” which detailed Brother Yun’s persecution as a Chinese Christian House Church leader in Henan Province. It details his torture and persecution for the faith and miraculous intervention by God’s grace. This set Tommy on a pathway to serving as a missionary. Listen in as they tell their amazing journey of faith.
Only excerpts of their story are included in the Saturday, May 25, 2024 MISSION CAST. To hear the full interview and stories cut and paste this link in your browser. You will be inspired!!!!
