Obeying The Spirit’s Leading (Psalm 100:3; Acts 11:18) (Discipleship)
TAKE A FEW MINUTES TODAY TO MEDITATE ON THESE TEXTS THAT REVEAL GOD THE FATHER’S ROLE IN CREATING REPENTANCE IN US.
(Acts 5:31-32) “God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
(Acts 11:18) When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
(Romans 2:4) Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
(2 Timothy 2:25b-26) God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.
(2 Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
