Our podcasts are 5-8 minutes in length. We create these messages using one or two brief verses from the Bible that come from a devotional book. Our purpose is to help you hear the grace of Jesus in these verses so that your life may find its grounding in Christ alone. It is this grounding in grace that makes forgivin’ livin’ your way of freedom.

00(Tourcast) Healing Is By God’s Grace (Ps 147:3; 1 Peter 2:24)
Grimacing under grace? The picture shows a friend on our tour who is being absolved by his friends Jim and Dianne. The kiss of peace. As you can see from the photo, it is not always easy to receive forgiveness even when it leads to healing our brokenness. But healing our hurts always means letting Christ take them into himself. Our podcast has more stories of those who received the healing of our Lord and the wonderful way that God worked it out. Just two weeks ago we had the story of a young woman who was healed of anorexia through a word from God in the “Daily Texts.” Today you will hear more messages of how God brought healing to young woman who were struggling with this terrible disease. You know people who are hurting around you from many problems. Just know that our Lord will use you to bless them by using a Bible promise as these women today were blessed by hearing the word proclaimed over them. We are praying for you.

The Book of Kells is a beautifully illustrated manuscript of the Four Gospels. Their story is told in today’s podcast as a message to the people whose commitment to the written word has been carried throughout the centuries. This message is compared to the testimonies of modern Christians in Dublin who were present yesterday at a time when the healing word of modern believers could be received and shared by those of us whose lives were changed when one of us got sick. The ancient and the present witness, both needed to bring the faith to life.

00We Have A Wonderful Counselor (Ps 33:11; Eph 1:11)
“Let the coastlands be glad” is the theme of our 14 day Ireland and Edinburgh tour. It begins today and continues through Thursday September 12. We will be making our podcasts as a part of our tour so you will be able to follow along as we carry this pilgrimage of Christ to the land which St Patrick and CS Lewis both share as spiritual homes. Our leader is Samuel Chestnutt. He has a theology of travel which we will share in the coming two weeks. But a primary element is his understanding that we are created to “explore, marvel and share” the goodness of God’s creation. Any earthly journey we take needs to have this understanding that our Lord has created us to enjoy His creation. And while we have this vision for earthly adventures, Samuel helps us understand that our Heavenly Father has created us for a new heaven and a new earth where we will spend eternity exploring, marveling and sharing the goodness of our God and the fullness of His grace. Please pray for us as we travel. We want to make the coastlands glad with the presence of Jesus.

(Rikka and Gordon were on a trip of a lifetime to the top of the world. Here’s their story.) “Along the path, God provided numerous pictures of authentic beauty in Norway. With all of our experiences it was the relationships that were made with new friends, old friends, and family that encouraged us on our way. Pictured here we are on the North Cape, a far northern part of Norway with little vegetation and yet still beautiful. God was present on the bluffs of the North Cape and God is present in the valleys of our everyday lives. The readings for today speak of spirit and truth - that God desires communication with us. Salvation is a gift for all people. It was our shared faith with God's people which bound us together from beginning to end! We are thankful for so many things but it is our love for God which fills our hearts! God is speaking, join the celebration and be overwhelmed by the beauty of God's creation!”

Mim tells the wonderful story of how God blessed them with these garments as a gracious gift from a wealthy Chinese benefactor. He is designing your festal robe of righteousness to wear at the wedding banquet God is also preparing for all of us prodigals who know we are saved by grace. It is, a robe of many colors, of fine linen, for royalty, interwoven with gold, the best robe, a white robe (Genesis 37:1; 1 Chron 15:27; Esther 5:1; Psalm 45:13; Luke 15:22; Rev 6:11).
